Review

Free RAR Extract Frog is a very small application which helps in extracting contents of RAR archives. This program is also effective in decompressing password-protected archives. The program also supports spanned archives. The main advantage of using Free RAR Extract Frog is that it is a very small and light-weight application. The interface supports drag and drop for adding the files that need to be extracted. Apart from drag and drop, archive files can be also extracted by right-clicking on the compressed file and choosing the ‘Extract!’ option from the context-menu. The third method of extracting the archive file is by double clicking the file. The file gets extracted because Free RAR Extract Frog automatically configures itself to be associated as the default program for extracting all archive files. The program also provides the options to define a default extraction folder as well as a default password for speeding up the extraction process. The skin of the interface can also be very easily altered just by dropping a JPG image on the program's picture interface.
Advantages
  • Freeware.
  • Lightweight.
Disadvantages
  • Doesn't have a user-friendly interface.
