Free RAR Extract Frog takes easy RAR extraction and decompression to the next level. It does not matter if the RAR file is a standard one, a multipart RAR file, or a password-protected RAR archive – simply drag it and drop it onto the program’s customizable interface, and it’ll be decompressed for you in a breeze. You can achieve the same results also by right-clicking on the RAR archive and selecting the “Extract” option or by using the optional “Unrar” button on the program’s interface.
As the name of this free app clearly states, this is a tool to extract or uncompressed all types of RAR files, not to create them. Therefore, do not expect to have come across a free RAR creation tool, but to a simple utility to unpack any RAR file you may have downloaded or received as an attachment. The three extracting methods supported are equally simple and effective, and so is the program’s interface. Its look and feel can be personalized with one of your favorite pictures, a wizard dialog can be launched at startup (as if you needed one!), and the “Unrar” button in it (which opens that same wizard, too) can be removed if so desired.
You are also offered a number of interesting yet simple options to enhance your user’s experience. You can set default extraction folders and tell the program to open them once the unpacking has finished. As for password-protected RARs, you can create a password list that the program can use to try to unlock any such RAR, or define a default password to be used with all of them. more
